This week I completed the last of the hero models for Bardsung, almost bringing the painting project to a close.
For the hero models I went with a white undercoat as opposed to the black one I used on the monsters, this was to make them brighter on the table and hopefully help them stand out.
You get a good variety of hero types with everything from Dwarf fighters to Elven mages covered by way of Raven assassins and Turtle mystics.
It looks like everyone should be able to find a hero type that appeals to them amongst the choices on offer.
Now I just have the giant Demon left to paint and all the models will be completed.
Mr T and I also got in another game of Napoleonic's this week with the cavalry making an appearance on the table. Both sides fielded two units of six and a mounted officer as we tried to get a feel for them. The French cavalry got a bit overexcited and one unit was routed by gun-fire whilst the other was whittled down by shooting and melee.
On the infantry side of the battle the French had the upper hand and managed to push the British off the wagon objective and claim a somewhat Pyrrhic victory.
