Bardsung: Bugbears

These are almost the last of the monsters for Bardsung, with only the GIANT (it deserves the caps) demon left to paint. That will have to wait though as I'm going to do the heroes next.

I do like a blue skinned monster so continuing on with that the theme I went with a blue skin and then orange main clothing colours.

First up are the Hunters, again I've not opened the unit stat cards yet so can only guess from the name and model what these guys do. But as they look pretty chunky and have big bows I expect being shot in the face by them is going to hurt. They may also have some sort of lurking / hiding mechanic to spring a ranged ambush on the heroes.

Next up are the Berserkers leaping from their tactical rock, it will be safe to assume they want to get up close and personal ASAP.

Then we have the bosses, first up is a big angry looking Bugbear. Again I can only assume he will be getting up close and punching some face, he certainly looks like the sort of monster that makes hero casters cry.

Obviously the leader of the Bugbears the War chief can be seen directing his troops in battle. He does also have a big sword so presumably he's no slouch when it comes to melee.

Lastly we have a Shaman who's seen mid-caper as he no doubt casts some spell or other. I could see a Shaman acting more as a support caster so perhaps he has a way to buff his friends along with a more standard ranged attack spell or two.

This is a smaller group than the others I did earlier but the models are a fair bit bigger (most are on 25mm bases) than the rest so presumably each individual Bugbear is tougher than the other monsters.
